Meet Scott McDonough
I grew up in the Houston and Bellville areas, and I've always had a passion for the outdoors and technology. My career has been built on two decades of extensive experience, first with 10 years in the oil & gas industry and then with another 10 years as a commercial and industrial electrician. This background provides me with a deep understanding of complex industrial environments, ensuring that safety and communication are always top priorities on every job site.
During my career, I worked in power generation plants and chemical refineries across the country, gaining valuable experience that sets me apart from other drone service providers. In the last 5 years of this career, I focused on maintaining transmission and distribution substations, using FLIR cameras to identify and fix potential issues before they became major problems. This hands-on experience means I bring more than just drone expertise—I bring a comprehensive understanding of the critical infrastructure that supports your operations.
I also hold an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot License, a Level 1 sUAS Thermographer certification through ITC – FLIR, and a Texas licensed Journeyman Electrician. To ensure peace of mind for our clients, we are fully insured with $1 million coverage.
